Living at Accolade
Your rent covers all the essentials, including electricity, water, internet and air conditioning, so you won’t have to juggle multiple bills. You’ll also have access to study areas, lounges and onsite support when you need it.
Yes. Every apartment includes a bed, kitchenette, desk, chair, storage and more. Your kitchenette features an induction hob and a convection oven for food preparation in your apartment. You’re free to personalise your space, but the provided furniture must stay in the room.
You can bring smaller items to make your space feel like home. Larger furniture isn’t necessary and existing furnishings can’t be removed.
Beds vary slightly by apartment type, but most are king single or double beds. Either way, there’s plenty of room to stretch out. The measurements for each room type are below:
King Single – 203cm long x 107cm wide
Double Bed – 183cm long x 138cm wide
No, but we do have plenty of washer and dryer machines in our dedicated laundry amenity onsite for your use. There is a charge of $4.50 per washing cycle and $4.50 per drying cycle, payable by card in the laundry amenity.
Payments & Lease Info
Yes. You can pay online through the resident portal using direct debit, or a Visa, Mastercard or American Express. The direct debit set up is fee-free, however a small fee may apply to card transactions.
A holding fee is required to be paid upon application, which is equivalent to two weeks’ rent payment. This fee will be applicable to your first rental payment. Once you’ve signed your lease, we’ll send you a link to our Student Portal for you to set up your recurring rental payments, which will start two weeks after your lease commencement date.
The bond is a security deposit that is registered with the appropriate state-based authority and covers any damage you may cause to the room. Don’t worry, this excludes normal wear and tear. You will receive an email before your contract start date asking you to make your bond payment.
It is refundable at the end of your stay with us providing there is no damage, your room is left clean and there is no outstanding rent.
While we don’t offer upfront discounts, paying in advance means one less thing to think about each month.
We understand things change. Your lease is a legal agreement, but we offer transfers if you find someone to take over your contract. Our team can guide you through the steps. Speak to the team at reception if you need to discuss a lease transfer or cancellation.
Your lease term length is outlined in your agreement. Please refer to your lease agreement document.
There is no cost to apply, however you’ll be required to pay a holding deposit equivalent to two weeks’ rent to secure your room. This will be applied to your first fortnight’s rent once you have moved in.
Roommates & Lifestyle
If you’re moving in solo, we’ll help match you with other students based on similar age and gender.
Yes, as long as both of you apply and leases are available for your preferred room type.
Not at all. This is your home and you’re free to come and go as you please. We just ask that all residents respect quiet hours and each other’s space.
Yes, short-term day guests are welcome. Out of respect for your neighbours, we ask that you please limit overnight guests to the guidelines in your lease.
Moving In & Facilities
You’ll be able to move in from the official lease start date. We’ll share everything you need beforehand, including what to bring, how to find us and what to expect.
Unfortunately, we do not offer parking in our buildings. All Accolade by Greystar properties are centrally located in major cities with plenty of public transport options in walking distance.
Yes, high-speed internet is included in your rent. You can connect wherever you are in the building, from your room to the shared lounges and kitchens.
Yes. Electricity, gas, water, internet and waste are all covered in your rent.
Our maintenance team is on site and ready to help with issues of all sizes, from light bulbs to leaking air conditioners. You can submit a request online 24/7 and we’ll respond as quickly as possible.

Yes, you’ll have access to all of the in-building amenities and spaces during your stay.
No, however our buildings have 24/7 CCTV cameras and access is via individual access cards.
Location & Student Life
All of our buildings are located close to major universities, making it easy to attend classes even when they’re early in the morning. Depending on your chosen university and property, your trip will either be a quick walk, a brisk cycle or a short ride on public transport. Speak to your reception team for advice on commuting to your university.
Think low-key and meaningful. From study groups to cooking nights and movie marathons, we run activities that help you connect and settle in, rather than socialising for the sake of it.
Absolutely. Our team can connect you with mental health support, academic resources and help navigating life away from home. Your University will also offer a variety of free wellbeing support services, ensuring help is never far away.
